Default Transmisson coolant lines disconect

I have a 1994 XJ 4.0 automatic transmission 4x4. One of the coolant line connections blew this morning at one of the disconnect locations by the radiator. I bought two new lines at AutoZone, in stock, and the right lines. I was sold a fuel line disconnect tool. A metal scissors type. It will not seperate the disconnects. I worked on it for two hours - no luck. I need to know exactly which disconnect tool will work on the line disconnects up front and the disconnects at the transmission. I went back to AutoZone and they had no idea for sure, nor did Checker/O'Riley. They had plenty of sizes and styles of plastic ones but they all state they are for fuel lines and airconditioning lines. What will work on my transmission lines??? Help!

Cut the quick disconnect off and reattach with a quality stainless hose clamp. Those QDs are not worth messing with.
