Checked out your site alot ... good info for the most part. Glad to be a part of it. I have a yellow JK (wrangler) but my girlfriend has a blue 1996 Cherokee and I have a white 1990 cherokee for parts at the moment (will later become a nice crawler). Anyway, her tranny is going out (just replaced the I6 last year. I would like to save some money and take the perfectly fine tranny from the 1990 and donate it the 1996 (both I6's). The 1990 is a HO, while the 96 is not. They also have different computer systems i have heard. I could perform the actual swap, but don't know if these two models are compatible. Any pointers?
