I'm installing my trans mount right now on my 88 Cherokee, its the 4X4 5 speed Puegeot I believe.. So far I've dropped the crossmember & then found this..

My broken mount.

Here it is on the crossmember.


Now the new one looks like this??

On the cross member.


Its different & won't work...The new mount is from autozone part# 2625...Is there somewhere else this goes? Or is it just work or what?

The new trans mount you have is for an automatic trans. Not gonna work, I've heard the Peugot mounts tougher to find and pretty pricy. (Hate to be the bearer of bad news).

I think this is the mount your looking for. I know you are just doing the trans mount, but, its recommended trans and motor mounts be changed as a team. Wear on one will wear on the other and your trans mount, well lets just say its showing a little more than just wear. Correct mounts are shot, trans & motor. I have Ironman 4x4 mounts ocming on Friday. And yup the Puegeot trans mounts is 56.71 from the dealer

Anywhere I can buy just the mount online for cheaper. All I need is the trans mount for the Puegeot.

All I did to find that one was Google Cherokee Peugot transmission mount, it pulled up all kinds of links. Might take you a few minutes but I'm sure you can find just the trans mount not sure about cheaper though, I had a buddy looking awhile back and I think around $60 was about the best he could find.
