Default Transmission mount?

I am getting a grinding/rattling noise when i accelerate. The best why i can describe it is, it sounds like a spinning fan is hitting my floor plan underneath the center of the jeep. I did some research and checked the u joints and some other things and im pretty sure its a bad tranny mount.

So what mount do i need? I have a 1 inch t case drop, if that makes any difference. I am just unsure on what size, brand price etc. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I didn't really think there was a tranny mount- it bolts to the engine and the transfer case which each are mounted to the frame. there isn't a bracket or mount going directly from the tranny to the frame.

Maybe it's more likly that the torque conveter is bad. does the sound stay constant with the engine rpm's or with the speed of the vehicle?

I have the exact same problem would you let me know if changing the mount stops the noise because I'm almost at the point of changing out my whole t-case out.

there is a rubber spacer between the crossmember and the transmisson and that is the tranny mount

Zeep, if you read under installation notes on the pages you linked, it explains which one you need. You have to look at the exhaust hanger on your Jeep and see where it is. You probably need KJ01007BK. That is the one I just put on my 98 this week. TC drop doesn't matter as far as know. But the OEM mount that I took off was the exact hieght and design as the KJ01007BK. So that is the tranny mount you probably need. Don't know if it is what is causing yor problem ot not. Could be drive line angles too.

Just a thought here, but have you checked the clearance of where your exhaust pipe curves over the transmission crossmember, and if so how loose the exhaust might be? Mine was making a loud thunking noise for a while because the exhaust was pretty much shot and I had a bad motor mount.
Rusty exhaust+a worn out motor mount= banging noise every time I accelerated.

Mine doesnt bang. It just rattles slightly enough to be heard over my loud exhaust. I know it has something to do with driveline by the spinning, fan like sound.

Like I said, I have a 98 and it fit mine. We should have the same setup down there so I am going to go with Diesel and say it will fit. If you're still not convinced, get under there and make a rough measurement and see how tall your stock mount is.
