I was changing the oil on my 89 Cherokee pioneer and noticed that a hose coming off the top rear of the 4speed auto transmission was just hanging down on the passenger side of the bell housing, unconnected to anything. there is a metal hose and mounting clamp on the loose end but I can't tell where it should go. No fluids come out of this hose.

I attached an iphone pic of the end, but it's kinda blurry.

Any help would be appreciated!
