Transfer case problems!?
Hey guys, I have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee country. The other day my wife stopped to check the mail and the jeep would not move again like the front wheels were locked up! I am assuming it is the transfer case but not sure. Found a guy that has a rebuilt trans with a 242...

IF its all wheel drive, a 249 transfer case, or if it is a 242 that was in full time mode i can see it locking up while turning if the tcase is bad. but if they were locking up in a straight line u may have other problems.
