Default Transfer case drop problem

Put a 3" lift on the other day and I went to start on the TC drop. I got all the nuts/studs and bolts out. Got all the new bolts back in except one. The nut on the inside is stripped. Can I helicoil it or will I have to cut/chop and weld? Thanks in advance for all the help.

Just re-tap it if you have a kit or you can Heli-coil it if you feel better about doing it that way, both ways will work. Good luck...Tj

Thanks Trek for the help. Would you recommend tapping it for a larger bolt or the same size.
