Default transfer case 4wd linkage bushings

hope this is in the right section.
i looked and looked and looked but no place even mentioned anyhting about the part i need.

i got a 1993 cherokee sport auto and i need the bushings that go on the body and the plate on the transmission, all the 4wd linkage bushings.

i dont understand why no one carries this... when i bought this thing i came with the understanding i wouldnt ever have problems finding parts since they are so common...

the guy from a parts store actually told me a junkyard for these bushings i laughed and hung up.

any help would be great.

Out of the 6 jeeps i've had i've never replace the the transfercase shifter bushings, also those wouldnt be the type of parts you can get at your local parts store thats probally why he said junkyard.

As for finding parts for these things they are probally the easiest vehicles to ever find a part for.

For my current xj i just bought a upgrade shifter linkage that came with all new stuff other then that thats the only time i've messed with it.

Also what do you mean the bushings that go on the body?? maybe some pics of what your talking about will make it easier for us to tell you what your looking for.

They are a dealer item. Also try lubing them up with wd-40 while installing them..makes slide just a touch easier.

i hate dealerships i might end up just rigging something up maybe thread it and put nuts and washers on there...

i agree but i just have bad luck with dealers is all... 99% of the time i can never make it there for the parts persons hours, they give me the wrong stuff or have to order it which they forget and i keep going back for weeks with no luck, the parts persons are retarded....

the list could go on but to make it easy i hate dealers!.

ill see what happens because i still have to pull the trans out and replace the flexplate, torque converter and the transmission because i have the ultimate bad luck jeep where everything fails...

i almost replaced everything on this jeep. i dont got much left expect axels really haha.
i got a 27 spline 8.25 chrysler so i guess its got something going for it
