4x4 linkage adj. Cant stay in 4 lo?

Default 4x4 linkage adj. Cant stay in 4 lo?

I can get into 4 Hi, and when i go to 4 lo its hard to get into it, i can stay in for a little but then it pops out and grinding is heard, how to i fix this?

I have the same problem...I checked the linkage and everything appears to be attachd. Does anyone know if there is any adjustment in the linkage?

there is actually an adjusting nut on the linkage. loosen it, move it a little and see if it fixes ur problem. i had to move mine about an 1/8 inch because i was having this problem.

Same here I barly moved mine and mine glides in and out perfect now took a couple of adjusts but it works great now

its been a couple weeks since i looked at the linkage under there, i foreget is there only one nut you would adjust or if theres moer than one which one you adjust

you may also need new bushings on the linkage if they were out the linkage has to much play and will not engage right you can get these at the stealership

at the end of the linkage on the side of the tc case or whatever in neutral with the engine off i pulled the lever back and went down and turned the nut with the wrench and then got back up and it stayed in 4wd. But still cant do it the normal way
