Default Trans issues

Ok so when I bought my jeep it needed an overdrive solenoid, just a wheeling jeep so I figured no big deal. Well about a month ago me and my son go out wheeling and it starts idling really rough and all over the rpm range too. Then on our way home we only had first and second gear. So after getting the codes read the tps and solenoids needed replaced. (Already replaced the tps once) so I ordered the 1-2 2-3 and lockup solenoids and replaced them just like one of the writeups on here. It now licks in over drive but when you put it in drive it's like there is a hard load against the motor. If you leave it in drive it will just kill the motor and if you go to pull away it acts like it is in second gear then will down shift at about ten miles an hour then go back to second. So after a lot of research I'm kinda stumped.. Fluid level is correct and I even disconnected the battery for about half a day. Sorry for the long post just trying to get all the info out there.

What year is this thing?
What brand of TPS did you get? Better to solve for one trouble code, clear them and see if anything comes back, did the solenoids test bad?

Didn't test the solenoids. It's a 1998 and the tps is a bwd from advanced. I still have the old solenoids though. I could test them.
