OK folks...Since I got bent over the barrel at AAMCO over a tranny leak, which all this time I thought was an oil leak because I didn't realize that my tranny fluid was brown also. I am lead to believe that the reason I am blowing tranny fluid is due to the the tranny getting hot. Only blows out when I run it hard for a lengthy time.
Guy at AAMCO said that if I am going to use my cherokee for rock crawling mountain cruising that I should run 2 tranny coolers.
So my question is for those that run coolers and even for those that don't. Is two coolers over kill? One good cooler should be good enough in my opinion..

Well 2 coolers I'd say is ridiculously overkill unless you're crossing Australia or Africa maybe.
One good, well placed tranny cooler is plenty. If you want overkill, run the tranny cooler on the roof rack. lol

Just MO, but I'd never go to a trans shop to have an XJ automatic "fixed". These transmissions are all over the place for $100. And I think they are common because problems with them are rare. I've seen them in JY's for $50 - whole racks of them.

I agree, but I didn't take it there to have it fixed. I took it there to have it flushed and pressure tested. Blowing tranny fluid out of it when it's ran hard for a long period of time. Then the BS started flying from them. It is a real long story and the more I think on it, the more my blood pressure goes up and I can't afford that.
