Hey short story short, my tranny shifts ok. (aw4 2001 cherokee) Sometimes it likes to go a little longer before its supposed to shift but it does. When it does shift , it feels fine. But the thing that's bugging me is when I'm in 4th gear and I give it gas, itll jump to 1800 then down to 1500 rpms and start accelerating. These numbers are just example. Id I give it more gas then it down shifts and you know it's fine. My tranmy fluid needs a change. My question is wtf? If you need more info just ask

 

The torque converter locks and unlocks in 4th when you let off or get on the gas abruptly perfectly normal
