tranny cooler q
i have a tranny cooler i will be installing, i have all the hardware and i think i have it all worked out but i was wondering how much extra fluid do you need to run one? i assume not much since the lines are pressurized but i guess i just need to install it and drive 15 miles and check the fluid and add as needed. i also assume it doesn't matter which line goes in and which line goes out since i am just putting it in the middle... right?
just wondering, thanks

some coolers will have the inlet and outlet marked in the instructions some coolers it wont mattter. Put on the cooler then check fluid level with engine at idle and in neutral.

Do you hear banjos?
Mine didn't specify which was in or out. I just cut the line and installed the cooler. As for how much to add, I only needed about 1/2 a quart to top it back off, and think most of that spilled out when I cut the line. HTH!!
