I put a RC track bar on my xj and cant get the body centered, whats the best way of doing this

you mean you cant get the axle centered under the jeep? should be able to just turn the wheel until it is center, then install the tb or get the adjustable part right.

Remove the bar on one end. With the Jeep on the ground turn the wheel until the axle is centered. Adjust the bar to match the mounting point and reinstall. Should be good to go.

It is adjustable right?

whats the best way to tell if its centered right what do you measure to find out

take a rathcet strap and mount one hook on one side of the axle and then the other one the body somewhere... then ratchet it till its center (stepping back and visually looking for the tires sticking out the same on either side... or measure how much tire is sticking out from either side and just ratchet till its center then adjust the t-bar out till it fits up there without fuss (slides straight up and in)

you can also use a floor jack under the trans crossmember and it will move the body up causeing the axle to slide.
