Default Trac bar help

Ok so I put a 3" lift on my jeep and the axle was off centered. I drilled a new hole in the trac bar bracket .75" over but that was too far and now I am very frustrated. Everything that I read was that .75 should be perfect but thats not the case. The axle is about .75" to one side. What now? I am thinking I should probably just buy an adjustable but am no sure which one I need. I was looking at rusty's but was wondering whats up because one says it is for 0-2" and the other says 2.75-5" why do they even make one for less then 2"? I am asking because if the relocated hole moving .75 over was too far, yet seems to work for some people, will the trac bar for a 2.75-5" lift be a little too long for me? If I have your head spinning and you need better details let me know. thanks

Buy and adjustable, you should be able to pick one up for $150 or so. If it says it's only good from 0 (stock) to 2 inches, it probably only has 1/2 inch or so of adjustment allowed. I would look at say Rough Country or Rubicon Express, I believe they are the most affordable quality you can find. You can spend a whole lot more and get some real high end stuff, but it's really not too much tougher than the affordable stuff.

Ok your initial problem, track bar now. If memory serves me and I don't have it to look at anymore, but I think 3 inches required moving the hole 9/16 of an inch from stock. If you drilled a hole 3/4 off of stock, you cant put the correct one in now anyway, you wouldn't have any structure to the bracket. So now you have to get another bracket and try to get the hole where it should be.

Suggestion, the adjustable you found for 2.75 -5 inches and a new track bar mount. If your not sure, call the company and ask questions. If they don't have some kind of knowledge about it, I wouldn't buy from them.
