TPS & Horn ISSUES
1. Hello I just purchased my third Jeep XJ it is a 1999 4.0L Stock. The TPS through a code shortly after taking it home. So I bought a new sensor it failed replaced it and took it on a long road trip and the check engine light came on again. I used the key and checked the code it was (24). Does anyone have any idea what could be causing it?
2. The horn would not sound so I searched for the problem I noticed a wire coming back from the horn locatin through the firewall to a relay on passenger side the one prong was bent back and the wire was attached. I plugged the relay in and the horn sounded. But it set off the check engine light and the code read 24? Sounds freakin wierd to me!
I am taking it to the shop on Monday 8-16-10?
Any help would be appreciated.
