Is this the TPS
My late 97, 2.5 petrol has recently been hesitating when I initially move off. Looking at other threads several people have the same problem and often advise cleaning the throttle position sensor.
Is this the TPS ?, I removed it today but there was nothing to clean only an attachment for a thin plastic pipe

From what i've read, the TPS is more of a replace it if it's bad sort of item. Cleaning probably won't help it like it would the IAC valve. Test it.
