A few months ago I tried to replace my throttle position sensor because it was throwing up engine codes. My efforts were unsucessful and after stripping 2 sets of torx bits I figured id wait, and to my surprise the engine light went off: until today. Now I tried the same thing (disconnecting the battery and unplugging the tps) engine light stayed off for about an hour then came back on. So now I figured I better fix it, is there any way to get the screws off easier? They gave me so much trouble last time. BTW my Jeep hasn't been driving/running any different since I bought it. Just getting the codes.

I used a small socket wrench, a 2 inch extension, and a 1/4" socket to get mine off. It's a pain, and the torx bit falls out of the socket if you aren't careful, but it did the job.
