Default Tow Strap

I am looking for a reliable tow strap. I have a tow hook receiver thing in my hitch, in the rear. And Tow hooks in front.

Can someone direct me to a good tow strap under 50 bucks?

you don't want a tow strap. you want a recovery strap/****** strap.
the one in the link is just fine and will work great.

tow strap and recovery straps are two totally different things. make sure you get the proper one.

I've got a procomp strap with a 20,000 lb test strength. It works great and got me out of some pretty tough stuff (not to mention some others as well) Cost around $55 for the 30 ft model but totally worth the money.

so us XJ'ers want at least a 15,000lb rating. is that what to look for? there are plenty of straps here in mmy area but most dont even have ratings, just different thickness.

what is the difference between tow/recovery? how do you tell the two apart? please enlighten

not sure if you can really tell the difference by looking at two, but a tow strap is more for a static load, as in slowly tension the strap, then continue pulling to destination.

a recovery strap is used to yank hard. they stretch a bit usually.

check the link in my previous post and the seller explains it in depth a bit more.
