Default tow hitch nut strip

hello, basically i am lookin to install a gas tank skid i pulled off a 97 and put on my 99. it has a factory hitch, and as i was loosening the bolts off it im pretty sure i broke some of the welds on the nuts on the strip. at this point do i just need a new strip? i have no access to welder to reattach the nuts and i assume going strip-less would weaken the integrity of the set up.

Fish new nuts through the strip and use an impact to tighten them down. This is what I did when I broke the weldnuts on my rear shock when replacing them.

The speed of the impact should be enough that it tightens itself up, once you get the bolt started.
