Thanks in advance. I'm here trying to help my Daughter with her 2014 Grand Cherokee V6 that just took a dump on her this morning. The thing will not go out of park, and the engine will turn off but the power to the radio etc will not turn off when the button or the fob is pushed. Also, the service four wheel drive is flashing and service air suspension is flashing. Non of this was happening when she parked last night. Where do we even start? Thank you so much for any help you can provide. Peace, Jim and Jessica

You might want to post in the Stock Grand Cherokee section. This forum only covers the Cherokee up to the year 2001. Completely different technology and while some that monitor this forum might know enough to help you, you will probably get a better response from people that share your model.

The Cherokees and Grands are very sensitive to battery and cable issues. If the battery voltage drops too low while cranking, it can cause the various computers to crash and start throwing bizarre error messages or acting weird. For example that service 4wd error, or mine which started with the wipers refusing to turn off. You may have to actually disconnect the battery to get some problems to go away, in particular anything controlled by the body computer like lights, wipers, etc. Try cleaning the battery connections and then if the problem persists, have the battery tested.
