Default Torque converter question

With the engine bolted to the transmission, is the torque converter still supposed to spin freely until I bolt it to the flywheel? Mine doesn't.

Yes it is supposed to spin freely. Well not super free but enough that you should be able to spin it by hand without too much effort. If it doesnt, try pushing the converter back into the trans and see if it spins. There is a good chance that the converter was not all the way pushed in and is now wedged.

Ok. I got it to sit right and spin freely. I bolted it in with thread locker, then learned that the torque setting I used to bolt the flex plate to the crank shaft was incorrect. I tightened it to 75ft /lbs and I believe its supposed to be at 105ft /lbs. Should I pull the engine and tighten them, or do you think it'll be ok as is.
