torque converter lock up

will a bad speed sensor couse the torque converter to not lock up
it started to go on and off erratically now nothing

well I did some work on it today
and it was the brake peddle that was causing the problem
the peddle was not returning all the way and it was making the brake lights stay on
so I fixed that and it fixed the TC lock up problem
the brake is connected to the shift control and will disengage the TC lock when you hit the brake
