TJ stubby bumper on an XJ? Anyone?
I was wondering if anyone has built or used a Stubby bumper like that off a TJ or YJ. Basically something like this...
Wouldnt mind building one but maybe someone has some insight or pictures to share?

Build a bumper the width of your frame rail then. I'm not 100% sure but I don't think I have seen anyone that makes those style for anything other then Wranglers.

how did you end up tying it onto the frame? my brother has a buddy who is trying to sell his of his tj and i can get it cheap and i love the look.

I made my own bumper brackets and the plate stuck out a couple inches, and had tabs that were welded towards the inside of the brackets. Very simple and can be braced as much as you'd like.
