TJ bumper on an XJ

TJ bumper on an XJ
Has anyone ever tried to put a rear TJ tube bumper on the front of an XJ? I got one for free and am gonna try and put it on my XJ. was just wondering if anyone has some advice

if it's stock, why bother.
if it's aftermarket, why bother, won't look nice, and won't mount up. but you can cut the mounts off the bumper and weld new mounts on that will bolt up to the xj.
you'd be better off trying to mount it to the rear of the xj.
