Is it just not popping all the way on the bead? You should always use plenty of lube while mounting tires but I have still had to hit the sidewall of the tire to help to get the tire to pop on.

That's the correct question.Originally Posted by fullwidth

Is it just not seating? What pressures are they going up to? Sometimes you need to use quite a bit.
That being said, I've had difficulty with a set of Kumhos in the correct size on my daughters WJ. The sidewalls were thin and the beads kinda turned in so getting them to actually contact the rim was a challenge.
The late model Chrysler products I've done recently have what I'm terming "No-pop" beads. My '04 Ram and '06 Durango both have rims that the tires just slide up to the edge, there is no pronounced pop.
And as stated, when in doubt, lubricate. (With tire bead lubricant. It dries sticky to help seal the bead.) Do not use greases or soaps.
Update found a shop willing to do the work to get them on. It took alot of pressure to get them on. the other shops wouldn't go over 100 psi. What lug nuts did u use my stock cherokees wont work.

100!!!! Holy ****! I was scared to death whenever I got them over 60! I had a bad experience with a lawn mower tire. Had it at like 20 and the rim separated. Good thing I had it under the lift arm!Originally Posted by Jkilgore144
