Default Tires and Wheels............................................ .........

Hey guys new to the forum and curious what size tire and can put on my Jeep? I have a 98 Sport all stock and have a set of 15x8 DC1'S.

P235/75R15 is about the largest on a stock setup without hitting anything. btw...stock wheels are 15x7...check with tire store on the 15x8.

I think biggest you can go without rubbing is 235/75R15 on a stock XJ, well that's what the tire guy told the previous owner of my XJ and that's what I got on mine. I know 30x9.5s are the recommended tire size for a 2 inch lift so, you might be able to pull it off.I definitely can't fit em under my Jeep though, my leafs are shot and instead of arching upwards like a happy face, they arch downwards frowning at me anytime I look at them.

You can put 30x9.5 on if you trim some minor inner fender pieces off. You'll still get a small amount of rub on a full turning radius though
