the bfg a/t is severe snow rated as well. and i haven't had any issues with an m/t in any snow personally. i just drive like i have some sense and not invincible because i have 4wd.
I run 235/70/15 's on my 94 XJ. I love the Michelin LTX m/s thats on it now. Great ride, great wear, have done a bang up job around the farm and on slick or snow covered roads, but dont digest deep mud very well. A friend of mine runs them on sand after he airs them down and hasnt had any problems. They will cost you though, about 650 a set around here. (if not 700 with the price increases lately)
30x9.50x15 bfg all terrains would be perfect!, Not sure if they make them in that size, or if they will rub or not. Not much experience here with cherokee tire sizes and what is acceptable for a stock setup. A friend of mine has the all terrains and swears by them.
BF all terrain!!!
on ice and deep snow there good.
with more than 15' of snowfall last winter, im sure they do great...
on ice forgot all the mud tire. they get harder than rock and offer 0 grip
