Tire size help?
Im looking at tires and the places im going to keep saying that a 225/70r15 will fit my 1998 jeep cherokee. Im sure they will but are they going to be shorter than than the ones that are already on my jeep which are 225/75r15, and if so how much shorter. Please give advice and possibly numbers on height. Thanks.

A 225 70 15 has a diameter of 27.402" and a 225 75 15 has a diameter of 28.287" , less than an inch of difference, .885" something close to 7/8of an inch. Hope this helps.

Check on Tirerack.com They show a wide variety of tires and show what the dimensions on each is including how many revs/mile.
