i have a 92 cherokee sport with bad saggin leaf springs and bald tires. i got a deal on a set of 31x 10.50s and need to know if i can make them fit under stock height if i trim the fenders a inch or so?

you can make the tires "fit" but your not going to like it.... if you hit a good bump, they are going to eat your jeeps body up. 31's are a big tire with a 2" lift. if you are planning on taking if offroad at all i would try to stay away from 31's on a stock cherokee. if it is road use, you prob, could get by with them but it would look funny

i gonna do a three inch lift asap but it will be a month or so till i get the cash and i gotta have tires on before winter

i think that if you cut the fenders than yes it will work for the time being, but if you try to go offroading in it without the lift those tires can do damage, and it could jack it up good. i would hold out as long as possible just to make sure.

thats what i was afraid of i cant aford to rip the sides off my daily driver.
got any good suggestions for a fair priced 3 inch lift?

rough country makes a good kit. i bought the 3" lift with the add a leafs in the rear, and dont do that. get the packs, and deff get them if yours is sagging. that is a pretty practical priced lift.

i personally went to a rubicon express 4.5" lift and then i put spacers on it, and i couldnt be any happier with the way the lift flexes, it is awesome. rubicon express makes 3.5" lifts but they are a little more expensive than the normal ones, but are awesome

the 4.5" lift cost me all my money. lol. i am 18 and it is a $1100 lift. i have been working to make my jeep the way it is now since i was 15. and the 2" spacer kit was 100.
