Tire size?

Well my tires bit the big one today.
I founds a awesome deal on some wrangler take offs they are 255/70-18's I think you need a adapter right? Also the jeep is stock.

How aggressive would it need to be? Would it be as bad with a two inch lift kit? Cause right now I have no tires and there the only I can afford right now. I don't think a 2 inch lift kit should be to bad.

The neww Jeep rims are a 5x5 bolt pattern right? While the Cherokees is a 5x4.5 i think

2" springs for rear - $250
Total $440, not including your labor, and special tools to do the lift install, lubricants/antizieze, alignment, loctite, etc. PLUS the new wheels and tires.
You could probably score new tires for around $500.

Well I'm going to call a local scrap yard and hopefully pick some near stock size up for a temp thing.
