im wondering if theres some way i could sipe my tires to get a bit more life out of them, enough for this winter. theyre a 31/10.50/15 dunlop mud rover tire, with about 25% tread left.

are there any basic handheld power tools that can cut siping into a tire?

 

LesShwabb dos it,they use a special tool.I think you can buy one though.

 

can i use like a die grinder? or does it have to be this special tool? no les schwabb in my area.
