Default tire opinion

I just got a set of kelly wintermark tires, the guy at tire shop said even tho it was a winter tire it'd be good year round tire. Just wondering if anyone has had expereince. They have really aggressive tread went up to 2357515 instead of stock 2257515.

235/75/15 is a great tire size... but I would not get winter tires they are a softer rubber and will wear out faster... you can run them year round but liek i said they will wear out faster hope this helps..

Default great traction, bad wear

I ran a set of 235/75/15 Firestone Wintermasters on my old ford ranger (evil POS) and they got excellent traction year round in all conditions. Problem was they only lasted about a year and a half. My BFGs always have lasted over 3 years, and my MTZs are going on 3.5yrs and still have some tread! Big difference in expense for small difference in winter advantage.

Winter tires are definitely way softer rubber! I was always concerned about my sidewalls on the winter tires when on a trail too because they weren't nearly as thick as off-road tires.
