Tips on troubleshooting no start condition
OK so the deal is, my jeep has been rough to start and now doesnt start every time i try to get it going. It either does start or I hear a very very faint whir for a few seconds then nothing. I know it is either the starter, solenoid, or ignition ?sensor?. I need to know how to test the starter and solenoid and if anyone has tips for removing the starter/solenoid.

is it automatic or stick? this just happened to mine this week.
it was the neutral switch floor automatic shifter. just loose
it doesnt read if it is in park or neutral so that makes it not start!
let me know how that works?
