A little write up on removing tint(way i did it)
stuff needed
-superclean(can be bought at napa, advance auto, and walmart)
-windex
-gloves
-lots of paper towels
**NOTE** Purple power wont work. Superclean is nasty stuff. it will dry out your hands in a hurry. also superclean will take off clear coat. found this out a few years ago.**
ok so superclean

window before. 5% tint on a mud truck sucks.

first spray superclean around the top where the tint stops. there should be a little bit of window past the tint.

next start working that edge down all the way across.

then start pulling the whole tint off in one piece. patients is a virtue young grasshoppers.

once tint is off you should be left with the glue. hazy look on your window

now take your superclean and spray the whole window down. the glue will turn highlighter green/yellow. let it sit for a couple of min. the superclean will eat the glue.

now start wiping it off. you will eat up alot of paper towels in this step. just keep spraying and wiping till the heavy glue is off. then take your windex and clean the window. superclean leaves a residue. i had to clean the window 2x with windex to get it crystal clear. this whole process took me about 15 min. final product(sorry pic sucks.)

Nice write up...I took some old tint off my rear window a while ago and couldn't get the glue off with anything, I will have to get some of that superclean stuff.
Also I hate when you strip the tint off it lets off a really funky smell that chokes me, I guess its the glue.
