Default Timken seals?




Installing Timken 513084 hub/bearing units on my 97 Cherokee. Simple question. Should there be a seal on the back of the bearing? The ones I pulled off had a red/orange seal installed.


My new hubs look like this:

Those hubs are sealed bearings. You will be fine.
