timing problem

Default timing problem

If my timing chain was to loose and jump the timing could this affect the compression and how can i rectify the timing before i get the new timing chain on please help thank you

If your timing chain is sooo loose that you say it somehow jumped time, than you need to get a new chain before something catostrophic occurs. Those timing chains do incure slack over time and need to be replaced prior to something like what your describing.

Yes it will effect Compression

Turn the motor Over to TDC on the #1 Compression Stroke and see if the Dist Button is pointed on the #1 Plug.
