Default Tightened steering box, now it leaks!!! UGH

So, my steering was really loose, and sloppy so i tightened my power steering adjusting screw just enough so its snug, and now the crazy thing leaks like crazy coming from the adjusting screw . I made sure the lock nut was tight but it still leaks a lot. Is there a way to replace a seal or something? It needs to be fixed because it will drain the power steering pump of fluid in just 2 days of driving it. Any ideas? Thanks

ive seen rebuild kits for them...that could be one way to go. sloppy steering could be bad TRE's....

also, it is very easy to destroy your steering box by not correctly setting that screw...one reason i have never messed with mine.

it should be right on top mine is anut with an allen head in the center of it mines a 2000 though i dont recall if 90-96 or 96-99 or 84-89 are differant I wouldnt think so but maybe and im pretty sure you dont want to go more than a 1/4 turn.

well i tightened it so it was snug, but then my steering wheel was way to tight, so i made the mistake and drove it a couple times because i had no other choice, and no time to fix it, and now it leaks like crazy.... i backed it off, and my steering is good now with the proper tension and everything.... did i do a lot of damage, or can i just get a reseal kit for the top?
