tighten parking brake

I see a few around here about it. but nothing telling me for 89. I am not sure if it is differnt amoung years. but if anyone can tell me that would be nice.

I have a '90 and there is an '89 sitting across the street. You have two wires leading from one wire correct? and there are two bolts holding that bracket on? If so you loosen the first bolt (you have to hold the second bolt steady with vice grips or some sort) then tighten the second bolt till its right (by right I mean barely hanging. the line shouldnt be sagging extremely low) Then tighten the first bolt back to lock the assembly

Tighten the bolts as mentioned by previous post until the cables are tight and brake will hold when it is about half way up,put it in drive and make sure it will not move.
