Default THROTTLE ISSUE

My 90 hesitates when I push the peddle down then takes off doesnt matter if its hot or cold and I cant figure it out. any help out

Check for binding in your throttle cable where it comes out of the firewall, curves around and attaches to the throttle body, make sure its not kinked or the throttle plate arm isn't tweaked at all. Start there. I'd have someone sit in the jeep and you watch the cable to see if its working properly. Of course, jeep off.

x2. had same issue. It was my tps.

You can adjust it by loosening the screws. its on the the throttle body.

Your supposed to use a voltmeter but since i lost mine, i just adjusted till the idle got better and my response was good without the high idle.

My dads had similiar issues. I used 3 in 1 oil on the throttle pieces in the engine but not on the cable. Everything works great now.
