You think i should try it? It wont hurt anything or the throttle wont stick??

I'm enjoying the flack that no one listened when I said the is NO spring on the throttle cable. But go for it zip tie the unicorn.....

See how many people get that and who is confused...

the springs are there to keep to much tension being applied to the throttle body throttle plate and linkage arm causing possible sticking of the plate which will allow the motor to run wide open with no way to shut it down unless you manually do it if you can get to it b4 you crash or it blows. two much pull on the linkage over time will result in bushing wear and vacuum leak causing higher idle .brakes and throttle mechanism are things you dont rig. jm2cw.

The plate already opens all the way. There's a reason why the cable has slack already.
