On topic of throdle bodys How do they effect your MPG. Good or Bad.

Do they make HO's for the newer style of cherokee (97-01) iv never heard of any cherokees in that era with an HO??

They are all considered an 'HO'... :-) They rose after the Renix era...

Standard TB spacers are smooth on the sides of the plenum.. the helix/swirl type have grooves cut into the sides of the plenum to increase the air velocity supposedly atomizing the air and fuel. HOWEVER, since our engines are not throttle body injected the helix spacer probably wouldnt make much of a difference.

So for example a 95' 4L. with an HO is the same as just a 99' 4L.?

For the most part yes.. some of the sensors changed over the years.. In 2000 I believe the heads may have changed some, and in 2001 they went to a distributorless ignition system.
