Throttle Body Spacer DONT GET MAD!!!!

Ok, I have the 1986 2.5L WITH THROTTLE BODY INJECTION. My injector sits ABOVE the breather on the throttle body.
I've heard everyone say a spacer is to allow for better air/fuel mixture going in. Since my fuel is sprayed in through a single injector before the intake manifold, do you think a spacer would make a difference?

Minimal. But it would have a better chance of doing something than on a dry TB.
Also, if it is phenolic instead of metal it may provide a smidgen less heat to the TB.
