throttle body cleaning

So I wanna clean my throttle body plate but can't get those damn torex bits off and can't...one is striped. Any advice on how to remove them along with the striped one

Learn how to use Channel-Locks really well and don't hurt yourself. Or you could just leave it on and soak a rag in TB Clean. I just wipe mine, and it's fine.

You will probably have the best luck, if the vise grips don't work, with an impact driver like the one shown in the link below. Impact drivers don't usualy come with Torx bits so you will have to sacrifice a Torx bit. Then when you get the Torx screws out replace them with Allen screws.
