I bought my XJ as I am old and have a bad back and my YJ beats the tar out of me on long runs...I want a nice cushey as can be ride and a moderate lift (3" or under)for those who have the OME lift is it worth the price and if you have the heavy duty version how is the ride?
thanks

IMO rubicon express offers a better ride. You also pay for the name OME IMO lol

I've been running OME lift for about 9 years and over 100,000k miles.
The coil springs are still running, the shocks lasted approx. 80,000k miles, I replaced them with new OME units. The leafs were perfect, but I upgraded to medium duty on account of the amount of gear I haul when off-road. The original 2" light duty leafs had not sagged in approx. 80,000k miles.

I am extreamely pleased with the ride, and longevity of the springs/shocks.

Hope that helps.

I'm looking too. I bought my '92 with 3" Skyjacker coils and its stiff as can be. After doing some research I found out that Skyjacker's 3" XJ coils are 218lbs while most companies are 150-180lbs!!! Its no wonder it feels like I'm gonna break something everytime I hit a bump!
