I just bought a 98 Cherokee. It has 16" Jeep wheels (not original to this jeep) on it and I put new 235/70/16 tires on. Now it rubs the lower control arms at full stop. I also put coil over shocks on the rear. (didn't like the lower in the back look) I ordered a set of four 1.25" wheel spacers for it. Will this help the rubbing on the front and open A Pandora's box of other problems? What should I expect?

I ran 1.25" spacers on stock rims for awhile it will work, but make sure your rear susp is not soft or it will rub with passengers in the rear on rough roads

Did you have to cut your stock Lug bolts? Will a set of shackles give it enough clearance to haul my tools? (about 300 pounds) Where did it rub in the back?
