today i was driving on my way i thought i smelled somthing buring. i pulled over 2 miles later looked under the hood sniffed around nothing.the smell started going away. a few miles down the road the smells back and the truck needed more power to run manged to get to my aunts. my brother said it smelled like a clutch buring but its auto so i got no ideas

 

Check and see if you have a brake dragging.

after a drive a feel each wheel to see if any of them are hotter then the others

 

ok that might explain why it felt like the aliment was way out wack it also was pulling to one side during breaking and driving but what do you mean by dragging

 

the brake caliper is stuck like youre holding down the pedal.

 

so im taking it that breaks smell simlar to burning clutch ?
