Default Thermostat question
Is there a rubber ring around the thermostat or just the housing gasket?

My 92 just has a gasket. What year is yours? No info in your sidebar? Avatar shows 96+

Be careful it doesn't slip down before you tighten the housing. MY JY guy tells me he sells a lot housings because that breaks the ear. I don't remember seeing one with an O ring, T-stat doesn't need to seal 100%.

Sorry its a 2000 and i kno some cars dont need the ring was just makin sure this was one of those vehicles.
