is there a way to change pulleys on a power steering pump?

Default is there a way to change pulleys on a power steering pump?

i have a v belt system and ill i can find at the junk yard are serp belt ps pumps can i switch the pulley?

im pretty sure the pumps are completely different on the 2.8 than on the 2.5/4.0, so no.

Look for a p/s pump off an 80's S-10, or S-10 blazer with the 2.8. only way to find out if the shaft diameter is the same is to bring a pulley puller with you, and pull the pulley while the pump/bracket is still bolted up to the donor motor.

Yes, but you need a special puller/installer tool.
