temperature gauge install
I want to install a aftermarket temperature gauge in a 91 XJ. I would like to put it in the heater hose ,but want to make sure there is constant flow, not just when the heater is on? Thanks

I believe if u mount the sending unit between the heater control valve and the t-stat cover (preferably close to the t-stat cover), u'll have full coolant flow the moment the water pump starts to turn.
One thing u need to remember, if u use an electric temp gauge, u'll most likely need to run a ground wire from the sending unit housing in the heater hose to a ground on the motor.
